Cecil Delbert Miner, 79, of 105 Klugh Circle, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at his home.
Born in Randolph, Vt., he was a retired finished carpenter and also worked for GLEAMS after retirement. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Surviving are widow, Doris Oakley Miner of the home and a son, Bryan Miner of Seattle.
He was the son of the late Paul Nelson and Inez Bennett Miner. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Memorial services are at 3 p.m. Sunday at Southside Baptist Church by the Revs. Earl Hartley and Hugh Fortson.
The family will be at the home.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Mrs. Conway Shirley, P.O. Box 566, Due West, S.C. 29639-0566, or to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
