Bobby Graham, 84, resident of 863 Sharon Church Rd. went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday Aug.4, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Dorothy "Dot" Hughes Graham.
He was the son of the late John and Callie Pursley Graham.
Bobby served in the Army three years fighting for his country in the Korean War. He worked for Milliken Mills 51 years and for 35 of those years drove a transfer truck. He retired at age 67. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member and attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Abbeville.
Survivors also include a son, Bobby Ray Graham (Anita) of Greenwood, SC; two daughters, Robbie ALewine (Jim) of Iva, SC and Teresa Hill (Terry) of Abbeville, SC; five grandchildren, Travis and Gary Alewine, Brandon Graham, Bobby Hill, and Frances Robinson; He was the proud great-grandfather of Liam and Elan Alewine, Caleb and Weston Hill, McKenzie, Savanna, and Alyssa Graham, Jude Graham, and Amaris and Justus Robinson. He is also survived by his two loving canine companions, Buddy and Belle.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Paul Graham and three sisters, Jackie Cothran, Louise Latham, and Laura Cothran.
A Celebration of Bobby's life will be conducted Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbie Burton officiating. The burial will follow at 3:00 in Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Monday morning prior to services at the church. The family is at the home 863 Sharon Church Rd. Abbeville, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Bobby may be made to Lighthouse Christian School, 2918 Highway 72 East, Abbeville, SC 29620.
