Bob Latham Gable

Bob Latham Gable, 72, of 125 Hampton St. died Sunday, March 16, 2003, at his home.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a retired employee having worked for Abbeville Mills. He was also a member of Southside Baptist Church in Honea Path.

Surviving are widow, Rosa Anna C. Gable of the home; son, Ronnie L. Gable of Honea Path; daughters, Peggy Morris of Waterlo and Brenda G. Grier of Honea Path; sisters, Theresa Ferguson of Abbeville, Shelby Gentry and Phyllis McConnell, both of Anderson and Evelyn Keys of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Henry Grady and Lois Irene Latham Gable.

Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home in Abbeville; burial will follow in Gardens of Memories in Belton. The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

The family suggests memorials be made to Health Related Home Care, 105 Court Square, Abbeville, S.C. 29620 or Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander St., Greenwood, S.C. 29646 and Southside Baptist Church in Honea Path, S.C.
