Billy Joe Campbell

Billy Joe Campbell, 69, of 510 Marshall Ave. died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late William and Cara Ashley Campbell. He was a retired textile employee with Abbeville Mils, Milliken Plant. He was a mason and a member of the Clinton Lodge 3 AFM. He was also a Shriner and a member of the Hejaz Shrine Club in Greenville. He attended the Abbeville Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are widow, Leila Bowie Campbell of the home; and sisters, Linda Phillips and Sylvia Jean Smith, both of Honea Path, and Rosa Anna Gable of Donalds.

Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home by the Revs. Wayne Bowie and Ray Massey; burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The body is at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the residence, 510 Marshall Ave.

The family is the home.
