Billie Jean Shumate Todd

  Billie Jean Shumate Todd, 89, resident of 188 Union Church Rd. passed away Friday Oct. 7, 2022 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

  Born in Abbeville, SC she was a daughter of the late Millard Shumate and Linda Nixon Shumate.

  Billie Jean was a retired Textile worker and Caretaker for others. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by many.

  Survivors are: three sons Randy Beauford (Kathy) and Glenn Beauford (Hope) all of Abbeville, SC and David Yongue (Su) of Oldemar, FL; a daughter Mary Gilmer of Abbeville, SC; Thirteen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by two sons Danny Johnson and Jimmy Beauford; two grandsons Dale Gilmer and Andy Beauford.

  Graveside services will be conducted Saturday Oct. 8, 2022 at 3:00 PM in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Frank McCoy officiating.
