  Mrs. Betty Bradberry Pruitt, 89, widow of Harold A. Pruitt, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Betty, a resident of Iva Post Acute, formerly of Flatrock Rd. in the Nation Community, Abbeville, was born on November 19, 1933, to the late W.J. and Elberta Bradberry.

  Betty was a member of Midway Baptist Church and was employed as a seamstress for many years at the Abbeville Shirt Plant in Abbeville.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Kathy P. Wilson, and her son, William A. “Billy” Pruitt.

  She is survived by grandsons, Joey Wilson and Brad Wilson, both of Abbeville; a brother, James Bradberry of Abbeville; a sister, Carolyn Kay of Columbia; as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Emily Wilson, Allen Wilson, and Austin Wilson (Anslee).

  A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Tommy Alewine officiating. The families are at their respective homes. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family at the graveside following the service.

  Memorials in memory of Betty can be made to Midway Baptist Church, 1218 Hwy 284, Abbeville, SC 29620.
