Amolene Richey Mobley

September 7, 1938 — July 4, 2003

Amolene Richey Mobley, 64, of 629 Watts Road Watts Community died Friday, July 4, 2003, at her home.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a retired textile employee with Bloomsburg Mills. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are daughter, Sue Carolyn Richey of the home; and sisters, Joyce Richey of the home, Lona Henderson and Ermie Lewis, both of Abbeville.

She was the widow of Charles Mobley and the daughter of the late Byron and Annie Mae Davis Richey. She was preceded in death by a son, Charlie "John" Mobley Jr.; and a brother, William Richey.

Services are at 4 p.m. Monday at Warrenton Presbyterian Church with Otto McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 3 p.m. Monday. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday.

The family will be at the home.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander St., Greenwood, S.C. 29646.
