Amanda Campbell Scott, 93, resident of 773 Peach Orchard Rd. widow of Paul E. Scott passed away at her home Thursday Jan. 3, 2013 with her loving family by her side.
Born in Abbeville, SC she was a daughter of the late Lewis Calvin Campbell and Othella Bannister Campbell.
She was a retired homemaker and attended the Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved spending time with her loving family and her many friends. She was more affectionally known as "Ma Ma" to many who knew her.
Survivors include 2 sons, Doug Scott of Due West, SC and Charles Scott and his wife Patricia of Calhoun Falls, SC; 4 daughters, Carolyn Page and her husband Parker, Evelyn Price and her husband James and Deborah Smith all of Calhoun Falls, SC and Regina Brown and her husband Travis of Elberton, SC; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by 7 brothers, Ebin, Jimmy, Bill, Bernice, Chip, Stewart and Tom Campbell as well as 4 sisters, Florence Cromer, Raye Tucker, Lee Campbell and Addie Clark. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday Jan. 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM in The Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness church with the Revs. John Ingham and Michael Ford officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Monday afternoon at Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness church prior to services. The family is at the home 1023 Savannah St. Ext. Calhoun Falls, SC.
