Alex Michael Compton

Alex Michael Compton, 22, resident of Apt. # 1304 Abbeville Arms passed away Friday Nov. 1, 2013 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, SC he was the son of Alex Reid Compton and Lisa Taylor Compton.

Alex loved his music and loved kids. Making everyone happy was one of the many things Alex was good at. He is so loved by his family and friends and will be missed more than words can express.

Survivors include his mother Lisa Taylor Compton of Antreville and father Alex Reid Compton of Abbeville; step-son of Mitzi Moon Compton; brother of Leah Nicole Reese and her husband Dan Reese; uncle of Ty Reese; one step-brother Destin Moon and two step-sisters Trisha Moon and Alyssa Moon; grandson of Barbara and Bobby Culbreth.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday Nov. 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Wayne Wicker officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM Tuesday afternoon at the church prior to services.
