Ada Faulkner Walker Allen

Ada Faulkner Walker Allen, 98, resident of Magnolia Manor, formerly of 503 N. Main St., died Monday, May 26, 2003, at Magnolia Manor in Greenwood.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a retired psychiatric social worker and a member of the Abbeville ARP Church.

Surviving is a number of nieces and nephews.

She was the widow of Grant Allen and was a daughter of the late Alexander Goode and Laura McMillian Faulkner. She was first married to the late Robert W. Walker. She was preceded in death by sisters Catherine Savitz and Elizabeth Speed.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Abbeville ARP Church. Burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Abbeville ARP Church, Vienna Street, Abbeville, S.C. 29620.
