Dear Steve and Staff,
My family and I want to thanks you for the excellent services you rendered to us in the passing of our beloved husband and father, Philip Martin. You made a sad occasion bearable through your kindness and attention to details of the funeral. All of you went above and beyond the call of duty to make us comfortable and cared for.
We also appreciated being able to handle the selection and placing of the grave stone and foot markers through your services. You saved us countless hours of searching and comparing and we are all pleased with the results. I never imagined being able to get all of that done in one place!

Dear Steve and Staff of Chandler-Jackson,
Words cannot describe how much your courteous and professional services meant to us during the time of our loss of my grandmother. Chandler-Jackson truly went “above and beyond” anything we could have asked for. Abbeville is truly blessed to have such a facility to serve people during their time of bereavement.
Phillip and I want to thank you for your superior efforts in making Ben's arrangements as painless as possible.
We were extremely impressed with the integrity and professionalism of you and your staff. We definitely experienced an authentic loving kindness in every aspect of your part in laying our loved one to rest.
Chandler~Jackson Funeral Home is an asset to the Abbeville and surrounding communities ~ God bless you and prosper you in your future endeavors in ministering to others suffering with the grief of loss.
With kindest regards,
Phillip and Susan Jones
Words can't begin to express how grateful we are. The service was perfect and everything was handled just right. We are so thankful that you've helped Wanda to begin her adjustment to life without Rudy. You helped us at a very difficult time to seem possible to survive. We are praying that God sends an extra special blessing your way. Because He Lives!

Dear Carol & Steve,
I don't know how to tell you what you both meant to me & my family. You both were "there" completely for us during our time of sadness. Even though it's your job, we could tell, Steve, that you handled everything personally for us. And Carol, you were like part of the family quietly taking care of things that needed done. You both hold a very special place in my heart and I will be there for you both if you ever need me. God truly knew what He was doing when He sent ya'll to Abbeville and especially into my life. Thank you for everything.
I love you,
Mr. Jackson & Mr. Chandler,
I wanted to personally let you both know how much we appreciate the fine job that you did in every aspect of my Nanny's burial, service, appearance and even the ride to the cemetery was so meaningful. Your kindness and professionalism will always be remembered. My Nanny lived in style and thanks to you she had the service she deserved. She would have been pleased.
And we again say thanks!
Sheri Caldwell and family
Thank you so much for a beautiful service. Dennis didn't want any "fuss" but I think he would have approved of everything "we did", and I'm sure he was proud of the way everything was handled. What would we have done without you? I was comforted in knowing everything was in your expert hands! That meant so much to us all. Thank you all for being such good friends too! Brad and Brooks have been so much comfort to my boys. All your love, prayers, and concerns have meant so much. Again, from our hearts, thank you.
We love you all,
Dear Carol and Steve,
There's no way I can tell you what it meant to have y'all take care of us at this sad time. The funeral and visitation were so comforting because of you both. Not only that, but just the caring we felt from you during this whole time.
Thanks again for the wonderful job you did at mother's funeral. Every detail was handled personally and with such compassion. The best thing to happen in Abbeville in a long time was the opening of The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services! Thanks again to you and your staff for a job well done.
We want to say THANK YOU for being so compassionate and also very flexible. I know we asked alot of you and I appreciate how you helped us to have a service that truly honored who Bryon was.
Two months ago yesterday, my "Mama" went to live with the lord.....I nor my brothers and sister knew what was to come next, then we met with Steve Jackson. What a Godsend....He never pressured or pointed us in the wrong direction. He was only there to fulfill my "Mama's" wishes and they were...even down to riding around the Abbeville downtown square one last time. That may have seemed silly to most, but it was important to her and Steve fulfilled that last wish...The service was wonderful and very dignified.
Steve and Carol are still caring about our family. The other day, I received a card that they had given a gift to the angle tree at their church in memory of her...what a thoughtful gesture. If you are ever in need of someone to guide you, not sell you, then Chandler-Jackson is the right place for you and your loved ones to be...The insight that Steve has is a Godsend...In fact I know that God sent him to us to help through the most difficult time we have ever experienced.
God Bless you Steve and Carol,
Dede C. Grant
Our family turned to Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services for help when we lost our beloved husband and father. Their experienced personnel carried out to perfection all of our wishes for the service for Alan. At this most difficult time in life it is such a comfort to be able to rely on caring, compassionate people who seem like family.
Just a note of thanks to you all for the nice service that you gave my son, Donald Ferguson last Saturday the 14th at Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Abbeville. It was a sad time for me losing my only son and him being so young. He really went thru a lot. You did a good job on him for I know it was hard to do it for he had been sick so long. You all were so patient and understanding the day of the funeral. It was so cold and windy that day. I appreciate everything you all did. Thank you again.
My family and I want to thank you and your staff for all you did for us during and before Frank's memorial service. Frank would have been pleased with everything. You were very thoughful to express your sympathy to us in a personal and professional way. May GOD continue to bless you.
On behalf of my family, I'd like to thank you - even though belatedly- for the services you provided after Daddy's death. The guidance you gave us was priceless during the last days of his life and I thank you sincerely for all you did. During the end of a person's life, there are so many things to attend to-not to mention the emotions that accompany such a loss. Having you to "walk us through" the necessary steps certainly made things less painful.
Thank you, Steve...... for everything.

To Future Clientele of Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I, Cheryl Unger am greatly appreciative of the way everything was handled for the double funeral of my twin sister, Shirley O'Neal DeMore and my father, Robert L. O'Neal who were both shot on June 16, 2006. Steve Jackson and the whole staff of Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services handled everything with the outmost respect and professionlism. They not only went over the whole business aspect of things that needed done, but they talked to us and honored our wishes with empathy and understanding for our feelings. Although they had never had a double funeral before, I feel the ceremony was very beautiful and moving. In this day and age you get all to many places of business that have a set format and they will not bend the format to accommodate the feelings of their clientele and families.
